Interpretation Accuracy and Acceptance according to AAC Types and Message Error Types

Objectives: This study aims to find which AAC type(high-tech, low-tech) and error type (omission, substitution, inversion) is more influential communication partners’ accuracy, acceptance, as well the attitude of users. Methods: The message scripts were constructed based on everyday life expressions; omisson, inversion videos produced by high-tech low-tech AAC. participants users’ family groups 30 inexperienced groups. watched video answered online questionnaires regarding interpretation A three-way mixed ANOVA was used confirm difference in accuracy acceptance; case attitude, analyzed through a two-way ANOVA. Results: There no between acceptance according type, however found be significant. In terms analysis, high scores recorded order inversion, omission error; omission, substitution. significant attitudes toward users Conclusion: results this suggest that for successful, direct intervention indirect partners must provided together.
